My name is Antoinette M. James. Sixteen years ago, I had a dream that changed my life forever. In the dream, I heard a female voice telling me to “Write your story; you lived, and I didn’t.” Those words had a powerful impact on me, and I knew I had to write a story. Thus was born “Behind The Badge – Her Story” a true story about a female police officer who lived a life of courage and dedication to her job, but ultimately paid the ultimate price for it. It was a story that I felt was important to tell, and I am proud to have written it and to have shared it with the world.

As I traveled back in time on my writing journey, I was connecting the dots. I traced the shape of the dots on the canvas I was staring at with my eyes. Gazing at the painting for what felt like hours, I could not discern the picture they were creating; no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t uncover its meaning. I decided to take a step back and gain a better perspective. As I did what I did, I noticed something remarkable; the pieces of my life were starting to come together. Every drop, every line, and every curve are interconnected. The startling realization that this painting unveiled my future, my predestination, came to me. I was filled with a profound sense of awe.

Finally, I realized the importance of this painting. This painting revealed the events that would come to pass, which God had already determined for my future. The picture I saw gave me a new perspective on predestination and divine intervention, causing me to rethink my views. The art prepared me for what was to come by showing me what had happened behind the scenes.

Despite my difficulties, I gained a new appreciation and understanding of this enigmatic painting; no matter what happens in life, I believe God has a master plan and is in control. Even in the most challenging times, my faith keeps me going, knowing that everything that occurs is part of His plan and has a purpose. I trust He is in control and will give me the strength and courage to overcome anything I face.
